Our sustainable business model involves no landfill waste as cut timber is logged and brash biodegraded on site at our yard in Sidlesham.
Brash is also taken to Stubbs Copse Woodyard near Arundel where it is sustainably processed to be used as mulch. Sidlesham is also the location for our growing fully seasoned log business as our logs are fully dried within purpose built glasshouses.
These ‘solar-gain’ buildings provide a similar service to kiln drying timber but without the negative heating & environmental costs. The rapidly increasing use of open fires & wood-burning stoves reflect customers liking the economic benefits of wood-fuel heating and our love of open fires.
